As many of you know, I love to ride, climb, write, paint and inspire people to find their inner strength. I have the wonderful privilege of sharing one of my stories in the April/May 2012 issue of Canadian Cycling Magazine. This picture is a quick glimpse of what you will find. The rest….well you’ll have to get the magazine and read it with your best cup of java! You’ll find it on page 44.
This story will make you laugh and maybe shed a tear or two. I can only hope that this article will help others find their inner strength and voice. Please read and share your thoughts with me.
I have to thank Gripped Publishing, Canadian Cycling Magazine and Dan Daikin for their support. This is a special opportunity to share this story and be able to reach out to all those that are struggling, have struggled or are watching someone they care deeply for deal with the unwelcome disease called “Cancer!” A huge thanks to Ted Anderton, of Chico Racing who took this awesome photo and Jon Safka who also contributed a stellar shot for this article.
If you are interested in reading another story of mine, published a few years back about rock climbing and cancer, it is called “Three F’s for Jany.” Check it out, share the link if you think it will help someone work through their struggles and let me know if it helped you!
