About

Welcome to my blog.  This is truly a work in progress as am I.

The start of a new life!

No more chemo!

As a recent breast cancer survivor, I am driven to live each day to its fullest and strive to leave a positive and lasting impression on all those around me.

I am so excited that I will be on the Erace Cancer Cycling Team for a second year raising funds for Camp Oochigeas.  It is because of the valuable support from Erace Cancer and the support of my husband, friends and Freewheel Cycle that I can extend to a greater audience my wishto show that there is an amazing life possible after cancer. There are no limits to what can be achieved.

My passions lie in mountain biking, road cycling, rock climbing, running and painting.  Even while enduring chemotherapy I did what I could and I knew to never give up.  It is because of my passions that I found ways to continue to move forward, keep my sanity, continue to smile and set future goals.

Now my main focus is on cycling (in particular mountain bike racing).  With multiple side-effects still remaining from cancer therapy, each day presents its challenges but I have learned that no matter what comes the key to success is to “Stay on Target!”

I hope through this racing and life journal you will find inspiration to keep pushing, keep living life to its fullest, accept that life can hurt at times but that dreams and life are worth fighting for.
